FOREMAN

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Project Manager, foremen are responsible for safe operation of the jobsite and understanding the plans as designed. Working as the onsite eyes and ears for the Project manager to make sure that the job stays on schedule and on-time in a safe and efficient manner. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating all deliveries with vendors, trucks, and subcontractors as required.

  • Maintaining, fueling equipment and coordinating equipment repairs at various jobsites

  • Preparing required timecard documentation accurately and timely

  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of equipment. 

  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe, timely, accurate and efficient manner observing all safety laws, policies and rules

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • Possess a valid current Driver’s License

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience, 5+ years preferred

  • Understand and use GPS equipment

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen

FOREMAN

TRUCK DRIVER

POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Dispatcher, truck drivers will be responsible for operating several types of trucks and trailers in a safe and efficient manner. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining, fueling trucks and notifying supervisor of equipment repairs

  • Preparing required timecard documentation accurately and timely

  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of trucks. 

  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe, timely, accurate and efficient manner observing all safety laws, policies and rules

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • Possess a valid current Driver’s License

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience driving truck, 5+ years preferred

TRUCK DRIVER

HEAVY EQUIPMENT/DIESEL MECHANIC

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conduct service and repairs on all light and heavy-duty construction equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, large excavators, dump trucks, crushers and mining equipment, light duty pickups and small equipment

  • Routinely service fleet pickup trucks

  • Disassemble, assemble, and troubleshoot equipment for repair at shop or on job site

  • Repair, replace or rebuild engines, transmissions, carburetors, final drives, steering, clutches, cross shafts, hydraulic components including pump motors, valves and all related components, electrical systems and air systems

  • Weld and fabricate material for equipment repairs

  • Operate crane on service trucks

  • Demonstrate use of safety equipment and PPE in compliance with company policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations to minimize or eliminate risk of workplace accidents

  • Report incidents immediately to safety director, foreman or HR in accordance with incident reporting procedures established by the company

  • Perform all other duties as assigned to aid in the overall success of the company

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required and applicable trade school certification

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience

  • A working knowledge of equipment brands: John Deere, Kubota, Bobcat, Kenworth, Alison, Ford, and more

  • Solid organizational skills in order to track and manage service records and inventory of equipment

  • Current driver’s license and good driving record

  • Maintain a tool inventory sufficient to perform assigned tasks (up to 1 1/2”)

  • Reliable and safety minded

Preferred Skills

  • Must have physical strength and manual dexterity, including hand/eye coordination, to manage all materials and tasks as required per job

  • Ability to climb ladders, stairs, elevated platforms, work around moving equipment, work in dusty and or high wind environments

  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50lbs on a regular basis and stand/walk up to 90% of normal workday

  • Must be able to work independently with little or no direct supervision and in a fast-paced environment with adherence to shop timelines for repairs

  • Possess good communication skills for internal and external customers

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology

  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe, timely, accurate and efficient manner observing all safety laws, policies and rules

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be at least 18 years old

  • Possess a valid current Driver’s License

  • 3 years’ experience working on Heavy Equipment, 5+ years preferred

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen

  • Understand and use GPS equipment

  • Must be willing to work in an environment with exposure to various weather conditions

  • Must be quality and production oriented and willing to follow instruction, including manuals and pertinent literature

  • Be willing to travel if required

  • Have a positive attitude and team focus
